Gnome Photo Frame is a photo frame gadget for the <a class="zem_slink" title="GNOME" rel="homepage" href="http://www.gnome.org/">GNOME Desktop. Let’s see how this works.. run the command gphotoframe from a terminal:
Here is what you will see :
<a href="http://blog.amit-agarwal.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Screenshot-gphotoframe.png"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1880" title="Screenshot-gphotoframe" src="http://blog.amit-agarwal.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Screenshot-gphotoframe-300x227.png" alt="Screenshot-gphotoframe" width="300" height="227" />
Don’t panic on seeing the blank/black page. You need to add the source first. So <a class="zem_slink" title="Mouse (computing)" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mouse_%28computing%29">right click on the window and go to preferences:

Go to Photos section and select the Photos tab. Here you can select the source for the gphotoframe gadget.

<a href="http://blog.amit-agarwal.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Screenshot-Photo-Source-1.png"><img class="size-full wp-image-1892" title="Screenshot-Photo Source-1" src="http://blog.amit-agarwal.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Screenshot-Photo-Source-1.png" alt="Screenshot-Photo Source-1" width="267" height="228" />
Select the type of source and other parameters that might be necessary based on your type of source. Once done, click on ok and you are done.
